Fox Sports recently created a list called the 10 Worst College Mascots. The list included some of the most beloved and successful characters in American Sports - even Nebraksa's own Lil' Red. Now, the internet spews all kind of foolishness, but many feel this was over the line. Lil' Red was one of three inductees last year to the Mascot Hall of Fame. He garnered more votes than both other inductees, Brutus the Buckeye and WKU's Big Red (both of which are also included in Fox's shamefully ignorant list). In fact, he garnered more votes than any other inductee in the Hall's history. Lil' Red has been an NCAA National Mascot Champion. He has been described by ESPN's Kirk Herbstreet as the "best mascot in college sports." He has been present at many National Championships -- and provided comfort in hard times.

We have contacted Fox Sports demanding a retraction.
